Farrier
We are currently in need of sponsors to help cover the cost of farrier expenses. All of our horses and donkeys get their hooves trimmed every 6 weeks. This is very important to our equines health as without their hooves, they cannot get around. It is very bad for any equine to lay down for long periods of time as it cuts off the circulation to their legs, so maintaining their hooves is an essential part of their care. Our farrier is exceptional and has helped us save many of our equines by corrective trimming and shoeing when needed, and maintaining their hooves. As you can see in the picture below, our equines love our farrier.
Each equine costs $50 every 6 weeks to get their hooves trimmed which equals $30 per month per equine.
